LIFE MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Eligibility
Life Membership is open to any member of the Fraternity who can be verified by the International Headquarters as currently being financial for 10 consecutive Fraternity years. He can apply to become a Life Member in the Fraternity by completing this application, a PBS – 1 form with the appropriate fees.

Two Options to Complete Life Membership
Option 1: Make Life Membership payment in full.
Option 2: Enroll in a Life Membership installment plan. The initial payment for the level you seek is 20% of the total cost. Installment plans must be paid in full within 5 years of the initial payment. Installment plans not paid in full within the five year term, will result in forfeit of becoming a life member. In addition, life membership installment payments are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
NOTE: Life Member Subscribers (LMS) MUST continue to pay National, Regional and Chapter dues until
Life Membership Installments have been paid in full.

The Buy Back Program is for Brothers looking to become Life Members, but have not reached 10 consecutive dues payment years in the Fraternity.
Note: Buy back of prior years must also include life membership initial payment or life membership payment in full.
Criteria:
- Must currently be financial for at least 6 consecutive Fraternity dues years.
- May buy back up to 4 years of missed (international and regional) dues payments.
- When buying 1-3 years, consecutive financial years must add up to 10 years.
- When buying 4 years, consecutive financial years must add up to 12 years.

OVERVIEW
OF LIFE MEMBERSHIP PROCESS
Below is an outline of the Life Membership process. Please contact Bro Dominic Osafoh with questions.
- Life Membership payment arrives at IHQ. (Delivery time varies depending on shipping method.)
- Finance Department receives the funds and process the payment. (1 day to two weeks depending on delivery method.)
- Finance Department sends a receipt to Brother to confirm payment processing and copies Membership Services.
- Membership Services updates Brother’s membership account with Life Membership number and sends welcome letter. (Within two weeks of receiving payment receipt.)
- Membership Services orders the framed Life Membership certificate. (Certificate arrives within 4-6 weeks from the date the certificate was ordered.)
- Membership Services orders the Sapphire or Platinum Life Member pin. (Sapphire or Platinum arrive within 6-8 weeks from the date the pin is ordered.)
- A membership card with the Life Member number may be ordered in one of two ways:
- If a Brother received his membership card under the old membership number, he may order a duplicate membership card with the new number for a cost of $15.00 using the PBS-1 form.
- If a Brother has not received his membership card, his chapter has to first mark him as chapter dues paid in the Chapter Portal, then Membership Services orders the card. (Membership cards are typically delivered within 2 to 3 weeks from the date the card is ordered.)
